The Crate & Barrel was opened on the 1st of September 2017 by Craig Bradford and his family. Craig is the owner/operator with over 30 years experience running bars and hotels in Dunedin, Nelson and Canterbury. He is joined at the Crate and Barrel by his son Sam and his daughter Mayson and his team of staff.

Together they all make a great team.

 

Since opening we pride ourselves on our great service, cleanliness, and value for money. With an aim to provide a hub for the community, a family friendly atmosphere, great menu and service, and a bar that is a great place to relax with friends and unwind from your day.

 

We have an amazing Restaurant that offers a huge variety of meals and a bar with

a wonderful range of wines and tap beers. Our team of enthusiastic and helpful staff always aim to go the extra mile and provide the best experience possible. We are always trying to be a fun and entertaining venue offering weekly Housie on Monday nights, Poker Nights Tuesdays, raffle nights, karaoke, live bands, Happy Hours, and much more throughout.

 

Crate & Barrel has Selwyn’s only vape store with a wide range of top quality products, and our liquor centre has great deals on beer,

wine and spirits. Also with 2 upstairs function rooms and 9 rooms of accommodation we are able to cater for most events and meetings.
